Photinia Fraseri Red Robin 150 -175cm Root Ball.

Evergreen shrub or small tree to about 6m tall, with an erect habit, and glossy, elliptic leaves to 10cm in length, bright red when young, later dark green. Clusters of creamy-white flowers appear in spring if left unpruned.

Root Balls are grown in fields and are typically larger, more mature plants, distinguished from those grown in pots. The plants are carefully removed from the ground with specialised equipment and are wrapped in a biodegradable hessian wrap that decomposes over time. There’s no need to remove the wrap before planting. Root balling is primarily used for growing evergreen species and a few deciduous species. It’s typically carried out during autumn, winter, or early spring.
